Hey people! We got new bugs
Well, according to a story in Scientific American, bed bugs are not the only blood suckers we need to keep an eye on. There are kissing bugs too. In the sited story today, there was a positive case in a Parrish in LA in 2006. I guess the CDC is concerned enough about these parasites they are hoping someone will do a study.
Wonder how much money will be offered for this study to be conducted? In the meantime, I plan to study instead how to prevent a possible infestation and how to eliminate one in progress. I guess it is still most prevalent in South America, but is showing up in the Southwestern United States also. The CDC has been aware of these kissing bugs that bite their hosts, then deficate near the wounds, for some time. And just when will they start to let Physicians know so they can start testing vulnerable people?
I guess they do not care enough to warn us, the little people. Course, maybe big pharma is working on yet another ' medicine' to create new and ongoing customers for life. Will people ever be more important than huge profits? Have not checked with doTerra or Young Living for their take on these new bugs yet, but I am sure Mother Nature has a remedy and cure ... if we but look.
Mothers this is your job to help keep your families safe. Do the research ...

Someday I'll wish upon a star and wake up
Greetings and salutations friends
Christmas is fast approaching, will I blink and miss it too? My intentions are good and the spirit within is willing, but my follow through needs a little work.
Monies are all gone for this month and guess what, I never even got to the store yet... Spent my funds at the Kangaroo... how foolish. I needed so many things, had no ride and just plane wasted my funds getting things for this house.
Oh well, what's done is done. We go forward from here. It is Christmastime in the city. What do I wish to do today?
I want to find a church where I would be welcome to worship and serve. I so miss all the activities in town. I have met someone who seems willing to help me get around. Thank you Father ...

WHERE OH WHERE IS THE HEALTHY FOOD FOR THE POOREST OF THE POOR????
When the poor have no wheels, is there good food available in their neighborhoods? NO !
Who in our society needs the most bang for the buck ... food wise ? The poor do.... Why is that so hard to comprehend? We must make good quality, healthy food choices available to the poorest of the poor and affordable ... Why should those who can travel easily be the only ones blessed with good food choices?
Why should the poor mother have to walk or ride public trans. so far in order to find the healthy food her family needs to be healthy? But the better off can walk to the local market and find so many more choice !!!!
